Zero Waste
The Vigneul project has far and deep roots as deep as those of the vine from whose fruits the active ingredients contained in our cosmetic products come.
The name Vigneul expresses our mission: we produce creams with natural raw materials used and preserved in the transformation and packaging processes to guarantee our customers’ health.
Our company’s approach is to generate value from natural raw materials upcycling and packaging recycling.
Our production starts from the material that would generally be disposed of as organic waste during the winemaking processes, also knokn as Wine Lees.
Zero Waste
Wine lees are residues that form on the bottom of barrels or other containers after alcoholic fermentation. These are mainly insoluble residues such as parts of grapes: fragments of peel and seeds, leaves, and yeasts suspended in the wine, that settle and constitute a pure concentration of ANTHOCYANS, POLYPHENOLS, and RESVERATROL.
In this way, a waste product has a second life in the production cycle of our creams. The grape seeds, the peel or must keep the precious active ingredients that give richness to our skin from which we extract antioxidants, vitamin complexes, and resveratrol, beauty allies.
The heart of the grape: our beauty elixir
Once the wine lees have been collected and harvested, we proceed with the extraction of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, transforming the raw material into a beauty elixir suitable for nourishing, plumping, rejuvenating, and illuminating your skin.
This is how Vigneul Cosmetics natural cosmetics were born.
Packaging:
recycling & upcycling
Even the packaging design required a particular search for raw materials of natural origin that could be 100% recycled. This gave rise to the idea of making the caps of our creams jars in recycled wood, the glass jars without applying labels, using the screen printing technique to customize the packaging.
The packaging, on the other hand, requires the use of recycled cardboard, thus avoiding applying internal resources in the packaging process, while the print is made with water-based inks, also limiting the use of colors.
All our products are Paraben Free, Cruelty Free and Vegan Friendly certified.
